Elfreda Grossen: I think the train is really your only option, unless you want to shell out a lot of money for a car service. However, I don't know how safe the Elizabeth train station is. Elizabeth is not the nicest place in NJ, and that's being kind. Monty Sieloff: NJ tranist trains is about it and they end at 1:40 in the morning and dont start again until 4:30ish...look them up online for theschedule. But its totally safe and not a bad ride, just dont fall asleep.
Inez Relihan: There are no options for commute. You should reconsider your hotel in Elizabeth and perhaps stay in brooklyn or queens or a cheap hotel in the city. Elizabeth is very out of the way and unless you rent a car I dont see how you are going to get back! there late at night, unless you pay for a cab which will cost you an arm and a leg. You may want to consider looking for a hotel in Hoboken or Weehawken as well, since they are right over the river.
