motorcycle Memories!?

Derick Kinnard: sunshine and summertime, Just riding with me and the open rode, the summer, the sun. IT just feels so right when it's just me, the rode, the sunshine, and the air of summertime.

Russel Gajate: Riding my old Yamaha RD350.One of my friends at the time had a Kawasaki KZ650 that had several modifications. A fast bike for the time.My RD350 could out accelerate him up to about 70 MPH but eventually the larger engine in his bike would get him past me. One day while going down a highway he passed me. I tucked in behind him and drafted. He could not believe it when we were going about 140 and he saw me in his mirrors. He did not know that if he went any faster I would have had to back off because I was well into red line in 6th gear. The moment I broke the draft I would have slowed considerably.Yes, I know this was a very stupid thing to do, but it was fun. I was young and foolish at the time. But somehow I managed to survive this bike. ANd yes, I don! 't ride like this anymore....Show more

David Boehler: Lots of great memories....1951-52, my dad has me in front of him, me on his tank.1958, my uncle in his motorcycle's sidecar.1964, on a moped up Shooter's Hill, London. (had to pedal, motor not powerful enough.)1967, a rented BMW in Izmir, Turkey.1980's, a GS450E on tour L.A. to Seatle, a 5-week tour in UK.2007, L.A. to OKC, riding sans helmet, just goggles, t-shirt, and SPF-45.2010, a stroke, but back on the bike in less than 2 months....Show more

Lino Cawthorne: Let's see, I've been all over the US and parts of Canada and Mexico on a bike, met my best friends (two live 400 miles away, the other is 1,000 miles away), met my wife while on my bike, took our honeymoon and other trips on the bike, took my kids to daycare on the bike and countless other memorable things.
