Joey Mekeel: I believe that to categorize authors as both traditional or romantic may be very restricting. There are a few mighty writers, reminiscent of Michael Cunningham (The Hours), and Barbara Kingsolver (Poisonwood Bible, Bean timber, Animal Dreams) who might NOT be categorized as both, however use the confident elements of each to create real fascinating and precious novels. I believe emotion with out a few evaluation, and vice versa, could make for extraordinarily flat, uninteresting writing....Show more
