What mental condition does Forrest Gump have?

I'm not saying retard to be rude, it is the technical name before they changed it and started using the more politically correct term "mentally challenged". The only problem is that the term doesn't properly encompass the condition. Anyways though, I'd say his IQ is probably around 80. Normal is 100, dull normal is 90 and bright normal is 110.
