Vern Serratos: I looked this up once. I was shocked to find out that in the United States once you are separated you can legally date. Although ethically and morally I don't think it is the proper thing to do. When are people going to realize that just because a person goes to church they are more moral than one that does not? Church is just a support group and social club with God thrown in for something to do.
Sabra Roers: No divorce is granted unless the spouse has lived in Georgia for a period of not less than 6 months before they apply to the courts to grant the divorce. A divorce may be applied for in any county and is usually applied for in the county of the spouse who requests the divorce.
